ANTI-RAGGING POLICY Tarulprany Institute of Nursing

Tarulprany Institute of Nursing is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all students. The institute strictly prohibits any form of ragging inside or outside the campus.

Ragging in any form is a serious offense and is strictly banned. The institute follows the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other regulatory authorities to prevent ragging and ensure a healthy academic environment.

What is Ragging?

Ragging includes any act that causes physical or mental harassment, humiliation, intimidation, or discomfort to a student. It may involve verbal abuse, forcing someone to perform unwanted activities, or any behavior that affects the dignity of a student.

Institutional Policy
  • Ragging is strictly prohibited within the institute campus, hostels, classrooms, laboratories, library, and surrounding areas.
  • Any student found involved in ragging will face strict disciplinary action.
  • The institute promotes mutual respect, discipline, and a friendly atmosphere among all students.
Punishment for Ragging

Depending on the seriousness of the offense, the following actions may be taken:

  • Warning or written apology
  • Suspension from classes
  • Expulsion from the institute
  • Cancellation of admission
  • Filing of FIR with local authorities
Anti-Ragging Committee

Tarulprany Institute of Nursing has established an Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad to monitor and prevent any ragging activities. The committee regularly interacts with students and ensures that the campus remains ragging-free.

Student Responsibility

All students must:

  • Treat fellow students with dignity and respect
  • Avoid any behavior that may cause discomfort or harassment
  • Immediately report any ragging incident to the authorities
Helpline and Reporting

Students can report ragging incidents to the institute administration or the Anti-Ragging Committee without fear. All complaints will be treated confidentially and strict action will be taken against offenders.
